Central locking cable in wrong position for Ford. Was told that hardtop was going to be shipped that day. This was a lie! Had arranged time off for the promised delivery dates. Hardtop was shipped 5 or 6 days later. I had expected a compatible plug for the brake light loom - in the opposite corner. No instructions to transfer fro inside wheel arch to inside tub. Interior lamp is not connected to loom and presumably is battery powered. No door actuator for lamp although lamp is apparently door enabled. To summarise; late shipment compared to salesman statement and poor quality ancillaries.

I am sorry that your purchase from us didn’t go smoothly and that you were not given the correct information regarding delivery, if any consolation this salesperson no longer works here. Regarding the wiring, the wiring cannot be in the opposite corner as not all Ford’s have that plug therefore, we have to allow for every model of Ranger.

The quality of the cab is fantastic, can't fault it. Exactly what I wanted, my only issue is I had the cab delivered and therefore not fitted. The cab itself was easy to fit however the wiring is too complicated to do on my own without any expertise. I will be needing someone else to finish the fitting (wiring).

The tape would have been OK if it wasn't so visible when applied, totally clear would have been better, but then for the cost, what do I expect, I would rather have a proper black plastic tail gate protector, but I don't think you provide them on there own?

Booked us in quite quickly which was good, the hard top seems good quality, the mesh sides behind the windows will stop the dog jumping out or someone reaching in but they won’t stop someone pushing them in by force. The fitting took forever, we were told to come back after two hours, we came back after two hours and our truck was still outside untouched, it took nearly 4 hours. We were also strongly advised to buy bolt covers to go between the hardtop and the truck sides, then told there wasn’t any in stock but it will be ok without them, is it ok, should they be fitted or not, I hate being told that a certain thing is required and then being told nah you don’t need them…. Is it going to cause long term problems?

I would like to apologise for the delay in fitting, the previous booking had over run and unfortunately this impacted on your fitting but again I apologise this wasn’t relayed to you. Regarding the bed caps, we always recommend them and especially where the Wildtrak bed has so many holes in the top of the bed but it will not effect or cause any issue long term.
